Q. How long will my first jump take?

A. Plan on the whole day, from 8:00 a.m. to dark for Static Line and AFF jumps. Plan on a half day for Tandem jumps, 3 to 5 hours.

Q. What should I wear?

A. Comfortable, well fit tennis shoes and casual, loose fitting clothing. Jeans are okay. Sweats or shorts, according to season. We furnish you with a jumpsuit.

Q. Is there an age limit?

A. Yes, you must be 18 year old.

Q. Are there weight limits?

A. Yes, 225 lbs. for Static Line, or AFF and  250 lbs for Tandem jumps with height and weight being proportional.

Q. What if it rains?

A. AFF & Static Line students will complete the classroom portion of their training, regardless of the weather. Tandems are simply rescheduled for another date.

Q. I received my training and did not get to jump due to weather. When can I jump?

A. You will receive a Rain Check that is good for one year from the date of your training.  We encourage you to come back and jump as soon as possible anytime during our normal business hours or by appointment.

Q. When is AEROHIO open?

A. Weekends we are open from 9am until dark. After April 1st, we are also open Thursday and Friday from 10am until dark. Call for weekday appointments!  Closed on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Q. Can I get licensed?

A. Yes, AEROHIO will train you from your first jump through your expert license.

Q. Do I need a reservation?

A. No you do not need a reservation, however if you call ahead and reserve a time our staffing is more easily managed to meet all your needs.  You can call  AEROHIO anytime to make a reservation at 1-800-726-3483. If you are in no hurry, and wish to make a reservation for a later date you may use our Online Reservation Form.

Q. What do I need to make a reservation?

A. Send your $35.00 non-refundable deposit to AEROHIO Skydiving Center, by mail or call us with a valid VISA, MASTERCARD or DISCOVER. Or you may reserve your jump online right now!
