Experienced Jumpers

Requirements & Prices

  • 18+ Years 
  • Current USPA Member 
  • Current Logbook or burble last jump date 
  • Current Reserve Pack Card 
  • Fill out an online waiver for AerOhio on the Burbleme app or use this waiver link. .  You will sign the affidavit upon arrival. 
  • Full altitude:  $32
  • Hop & Pop:   $25

Currency

  • A-License - 60 Days 
  • B-License - 90 Days 
  • C and D-License - 180 Days

General Safety

  • Safety is everyone’s responsibility - keep your head on a swivel!
  • Cameras can only be worn by jumpers with 200+ jumps as per the USPA recommendation
  • AAD’s are not required but are highly recommended

Landing Area Procedures

  • Landing direction will be set by management at the beginning of the day, however, it is subject to change based on the winds throughout the day (Follow the yellow arrow for final)
  • Landing north or south patterns are Left Hand - North & Right Hand - South.
  • Landing east or west patters are Left Hand - West & Right Hand - East
  • The high-speed lane is for turns greater than 90 degrees and only open when primary landing area direction for landing is North or South - you also need the DZM’s approval
  • No crossing the runway or areas directly in line with the runway under 1000 ft

General Rules

  • No camping or overnight stays at the airport - the hangar will be locked up at night!
  • No pets are allowed on the airport. 
  • No smoking in the hangar.
  • No open alcohol containers during the day.

Aircraft

  • Seatbelts fastened until 2000 ft and are required for taxi, takeoff, and landing
  • Helmet on or secured on chest strap until 2000 ft and for taxi, takeoff, and landing
  • Door remains closed until 2000 ft
  • Exit lights - Red = Open Door and Spot - Green = Climb out and Go
  • Be sure to tell the pilot (ONCE YOU ARE IN THE AIRPLANE) if there is a big way or hop n pops in the plane
  • Only talk to the pilot when the plane is parked or above 2000 feet.  Unless there is an emergency, no communication with the pilot during taxi, takeoff and climb out to 2000 feet.
  • Know your exit order and group separation before boarding the aircraft.

Wingsuit Jumping 

You’ve watched videos of wingsuit jumping, but have you ever wondered if an everyday person like you can take wing?
The answer, of course, is YES. And if you’re willing to make the commitment, we can help you get there. 

Steps to Wingsuit Jumping 

Step 1. Go ahead and reserve your first jump. 

Step 2. Take your first Jump Course to start your solo student progression.

Step 3. Complete the 25-jump Student Progression to earn your A License.

Step 4. Work with the AerOhio New Jumpers Program to start racking up those jump numbers and learning the skills you will need to fly a wingsuit.

Step 6. 200 (yep, 200!) is the magic number of jumps required before you can take your Wingsuit First Jump Course.

Step 7. Sign up for your Wingsuit Course and learn to fly!

 

Equipment Rental 

We have rental rigs available for licensed skydivers. If you have just graduated from student status or are traveling through and just need a rig to make a jump, you can rent from us.  We have both a per jump rate of $35 and a daily rate of $95.  

Our rental gear are Icon student containers with Performance Designs canopies.  They are perfect for working on your flight skills before you purchase your first rig.
