PAYMENT AND REFUND POLICY 

Payment & Changes: Payment for jumps, training and all related fees are to be paid in advance.  All prices, terms and conditions as well as this refund policy are subject to change without notice. This management has the sole and exclusive right to determine, interpret and implement this and other policies. Please take note that you have entered into an agreement accepting the terms of this policy. 

Method of Payment: We accept cash, debit cards, Visa, MasterCard, Corporate and Personal checks. Please make your checks payable to: AEROHIO SKYDIVING, LLC.  There is a $35.00 fee for any NSF check.  You must show a valid photo ID at time of payment to verify that you are the person signing the waiver and that you are at least 18 years old. 

Deposits: Deposits are non-refundable unless you cancel or change days with three days prior to your scheduled date. If a person fails to show up on his reserved date, the money will be forfeited and no refund given on the reservation deposit. Any funds left inactive on account for over two (2) years will be considered abandoned and will be forfeited. 

Tandem Skydives:  If a participant pays in full for a Tandem jump and the participant decides not to jump prior to going up in the airplane, everything is refundable, except the $50 deposit.  If a participant purchases a Tandem jump, goes up in the plane and then the participant decides not to jump, there is no refund available for the jump or video services purchased.   Any funds left inactive on account for over two (2) years will be considered abandoned and will be forfeited. 

AFF Student Skydives:  If a participant completes an AFF first jump training course and then decides prior to going up in the plane not to do the solo jump, all money paid is refundable except for $150 for the deposit and training costs.  The student may choose to do a Training Tandem Skydive instead of the solo jump at no extra charge.  If the participant completes an AFF first jump training course and decides not to do the solo jump after going up in the airplane, there is no refund available for the jump or video services purchased.  All discounted OSU Class prepaid jump & video services are non-refundable in any case and the above policy for "AFF Student Skydives" applies. Any funds left inactive on account for over two (2) years will be considered abandoned and will be forfeited. 

Ability to Skydive:  The management reserve the right to make the final decision as to whether a participant is capable of participating in either a Solo AFF skydive or a Tandem Skydive. Refunds in case of participants’ inability to complete training and make their jump will be handled on an individual basis and at the management’s discretion.  

Video Package Refund: In the event of a video failure, the video package can be fully or partially refunded depending on the issue.  Any re-jump requested due to video failure will be charged at full price. 

AFF Jumps or Packages: These purchases are non-refundable after 30 days.  Refunds within 30 days on any student jump purchase will be subject to a 25% processing fee on the remaining balance, less the full price of any jumps done from a package.  Any funds left inactive on account for over two (2) years will be considered abandoned and will be forfeited. 

Rescheduling Tandem: Tandem students will be rescheduled in the event of unsuitable weather. There are no refunds given for jumps paid in full or for deposits.  The credit for your deposit or paid in full jump is good for two years.  All tandem jumpers will need to reschedule to a new day and time. Any funds left inactive on account for over two (2) years will be considered abandoned and will be forfeited. 

Rescheduling Solo AFF Jumps:  If a student is unable to jump on the day that he takes his AFF training class, due to weather or circumstances beyond our control, the student is able to schedule for the jump at his earliest convenience any day we are open for jumping.  Calling ahead to check the weather is encouraged and will help with scheduling.  The credit for your deposit or paid in full jump is good for two years.  AFF Students must return within 30 days to avoid a $25 refresher fee or within 60 days to avoid a $50.00 refresher fee.   If the AFF Student fails to return within 180 days, a $75 retraining fee will apply and repeating the AFF first jump class may be required at management's discretion.  Any funds left inactive on account for over two (2) years will be considered abandoned and will be forfeited. 

Rescheduling OSU Class Students:  If an OSU student is unable to jump the day of the trip to AerOhio the "Rescheduling Solo AFF Jumps" policy above applies.  If an OSU student is not cleared for the solo skydive after testing or training, the OSU student may choose to do a Training Tandem Skydive instead of the solo jump at no extra charge.  Any funds left inactive on account for over two (2) years will be considered abandoned and will be forfeited. 

Refunds on Retail Merchandise:   There are no refunds available to anyone for any reason. 

Gift Certificates: Gift certificates are valid for two years from the date of purchase and are non-refundable. After the two years, the gift certificate may be extended for twelve additional months for a $100.00 extension fee.  The extension must be done within 24 months of the original purchase, otherwise, the certificate is invalid and the money will be forfeited. Gift certificates are fully transferable. 

Prize Certificates: Certificates won or purchased through promotional giveaways, raffles, auctions, donations or similar venues must be used within one calendar year from the date of issuance, or as specified on the certificate. Time extensions will be granted on a case-by-case basis at the management’s discretion. There is no cash refund and no redemption value to these certificates under any circumstances. 

Licensed Jumper Account Refunds:  Accounts must be kept in the positive, as there are no credit terms extended.  It is up to the individual to monitor his account and keep track of the status.  Refunds for money paid ahead on account will be handled on a case-by-case basis and at the management’s discretion.  Any funds left inactive on account for over two (2) years will be considered abandoned and forfeited. 

Cloud/Weather Policy:  If clouds or other weather conditions prevents normal operation of the jump plane, by boarding the aircraft you are agreeing to pay for the manifested slot regardless of what altitude from which you jump or if you are able to jump at all.
